Rifa por un mantón de seda - 22 agosto 2011 / Raffle for a silk shawl - 22 August 2011

As you can see, this is a very large traditional Spanish shawl.


It is worn as shown here folded into two so it forms a large triangle.


Customarily it is held in place with a brooch at the front.


The fringes almost reach the ground - the model is 5feet 5½inches tall, 166.3cms.


It is hand embroidered.
